Tom's Black VTR
After wanting a black or icelandic grey Mk2 VTR for a while and my old 1.1 sold I finally got one. The current specs are:
2002 on a '51
62000 miles
1 previous owner
Aftermarket headunit and speakers
Was a bargin at £1225. However has a few things that need sorting:
Needs a spare key
Smashed foglight
Missing a mirror cap
Number plates look tired
Grille is faded
Opinions welcomed

Cheers mate Should be pretty cheap to replace, scrapyard or ebay. Haven't gotten a chance to appreciate it yet. Took it for a test drive but it was only quick and didn't really get a chance to put my foot down. But it's definately got some grunt I can't drive it yet as the tax ran out yesterday and I'm not insured on it yet I shall have to let you know when I take it for a proper drive

Looks like an absolute mint car.
Good buy that.
Going to keep it looking standard and do a few engine tweaks?
Or just alloys, lower, etc?

Update: List of plans
My current plans are:
Fit my sony headunit from my 1.1
Spray light inserts black
Smoked jewels (maybe)
Sub
Amp
Spray alloys silver or gun metal gray
SPL dynamic 5.2 comps
Lowering 40mil, would go 50 but too expensive
Induction kit etc
In that kind of order
In the future:
GTI leathers
OZ Superturismos
However buying the car has cleaned me out so progress will be slow to begin with, but give it time.

Cheers There are a few marks on it but nothing too bad I recon it's worth about £1600 tbh so a good bargin
Gona keep it looking standard-ish, few things here and there. Not completely standard though.
