Comparing camshafts TU5J4
Hi guys I'm deciding that camshafts take for 16v
and am looking for more information as possible and more experience with maps from possibly think of all ...
I am stuck at the comparison between 715-708 - 743-705
as torque and horsepower rpm as are the comparisons ???
thank you very much to all

you cannot expect to get those type of figures without knowing EXACT spec of engine -exhaust manifold type + ex system ,type +size of t/bodies and inlet manifold head work ,valve sizes comp ratio +piston type and of course type of fuel

and then theres the variation in data from each rolling road as each is calibrated differently. You can get an idea, but it wont be official from the manufacturer. It would be a legal minefield if there was a guarantee on power.
Decide what the car is going to be used for. A camshaft supplier can then advise the right one for your car. Usually the main limiting factor is how many modifications and how much you are prepared to spend to make the camshaft work.

found
4-2-1 manifold, 2" decat, cup intake and 743 cams
you did before
155,8nm at 5292rpm
139,5hk at 7341rpm
after the map
173,0nm at 5192rpm
158,3hk at 7323rpm
very good to have only those changes

There you have it.
If you can find someone with roughly the same changes but with different cams, then you can compare those.
But i doubt you'll find much better cams than 743 with stock lifters.
The deal with 715 is that you can use those without a remap, where 743 is only giving you half the potential until you get it mapped.

715's will still peak above the std rev limit so a remap would be required.
