Arrow How i repaired my sunroof leak?

It all started when i came out of work last week and got in my car 2 discover a puddle in my passenger footwell. So i set to fix it straight away.

Tools needed

Slicone and Gun any old slicone will do
Torx screwdrivers various sizes.

Firstly i removed the interior lamp and the square insert on the sunroof trim. Behind that there is a 25 torx screw remove that then remove the winder also a 25 torx screw. Behind that is another torx bit also 25 remove that the remove trim.

Then remove sunvisors there are 3 screws here all torx not sure on sizes though. Then remove grab handles also torx then remove the clips on drivers side where grab handle would be. The pull down the tops or the door seals and the front of the headlining should drop down. By the way do be careful not 2 damage the headlining.

Then slicone alround the sunroof cassette no the glass itself. After this makesure the drains are not blocked and water runs though them they may want a clean out use a welding rod or airline.

Then refit all this in reverse order. After this makesure the seal below the glass is clean and fitted properly and makesure the sunroof is generally clean.

Since carrying this out on my car i have not had a leak since but is really a trial and error in away. I will post pics soon. Good Luck and enjoy having a sunroof as i di now
