SAXO8VYO's silver furio " forgot i even had this thread " a few updates nothing big

Well i havent made a thread and have my 2000/1 x reg furio for around 7/8 months (about 2 months before i started to learn to drive got it for my 18th from my mum).

so when i got it it came with some black vtr alloys really shabby paint job to be honest but it only had 76k miles on it and 6 months m.o.t and tax , a 3.2inch powerflow cat back (de-cat) headunit (not great but was free).

so now ive started a progress thread as the last few months i got more interested in modding my sax and as my practical test is at the end on june and so more things will be happening slowly , not many big things at the moment but few small bits

so when i first got it home then found out the radiator had a massive hole in the bottom





gave it a clean and ordered a new radiator
so the new radiator arrived about 7 weeks after ordering it due to it getting lost by dhl , but when it arrived i fitted it and also widemouthed the bumper too but havent finished it yet




so after doing this i then decided to de-slat the grill and spray it matt black along with some new mirror caps



Also gave the car a new oil filter , air filter , spark plugs , flushed the engine and new coolant and oil ect... ( have no pictures but im sure you all know what happens with a mini service )

So then i was hunting in my garage one day and found loads of leather samples from the previous owners , so i gave the heather vent covers a quick go and this is how they come out . not bad for a first attempt at trimming


After i did the leather trimming i decided to do something abit different rather than spraying the interior bits one colour and came up with this grey with gloss black specks and has a nice clear coat .


well so a few weeks past and didnt touch the car due to family things happening and driving lessons , but then wanted to re-spray the rocker cover as it was very rusty and looked crap also did the same design with the fuse box cover as i did with the glove box lid.

then not much been happening as been working alot and not spending much time at my mum and step dads house (where the car currently is)
but as my test is not long away and the m.o.t has ran out , i got it booked in this saturday for a m.o.t test and i got some new silver vtr alloys as the old ones had crap illegal tyres and looked rubbish



So thats pretty much all i have done up to now , i am going to pick up a 106 Quicksilver interior tonight ( front seats , rear bench , door cards ) for a nice bargin of £30 so should look good just wanted something different other than gti leather

Also looking to getting it lowered after my test if i pass , me and a couple of mates are gunna try the torsion bar and if we cant do it we will go to a garage but the front springs wont be a problem , will hopefully get the spax kit non adjustable
