1.1 - vtr
Hello,
So firstly, my cam belt... Its perished and basically snapped when driving along at 30mph, i am pretty sure at least 2 of my valves have bent, and repairing seems too much hassle and expense.
So i have decide fuck it is VTR time.
im doing mechanics at college and i recon im competant enough - a friend has a vtr for sale cheep and has the resources to do it and i dont need opinions or critisms, i know my insurance is going up blah blah blah i just wanna know, basically, what im gonna need to think about.
I have heard the looms are the same?
the mounting points are the same?
the 1.1 geearbox will fix?
an unlocked ecu? how do i unlock it? and why does that need to be done?
I already have vts struts and brakes. so is that everything?
The engine will come with radiator fans all that crap
HAVE I MISSED ANYTHING?
Will i need any specific tools?
and what should i check before i buy this engine...
