I was hoping the wheels would fall off, and he'd crash and die, then i could go scavenge the wheels from the wreckage and use them on my car
on a serious note, i do wheel bolts up VERY tight, much tighter than torque wrench recommends, and always make sure people are happy with how tight wheel bolts are before they leave, cos almost anything else can fall apart and you can recover, but if a wheel falls off you're fucked

cowboy alex yeeehhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaa
on serious note, alex is a fag
on a more serious note, if i take wheels off when putting them on i go around the car twice at least checking all, and again i do them as tight as i can, which is tight when you see my guns. pow pow

Hope you guys know you shouldn't over tighten the wheel nuts, if you have guns like the above, you will crack the wheels
Very strange for wheel nuts to just fall off.... but i've been in a land rover, which went around a roundabout and with a bang, we stopped to see one of our wheels roll down the road.... luckly the old rover managed to keep rolling on 3 wheels lol!

I did used to use the torque wrench but then it got broken in rain damage from my shed roof fucking up
I am 100% sure i won't have left the wheel bolts too loose, i'm sure red must have had the wheel off, for cleaning arches and underside of car i guess?!
Cos i've worked on 50+ peoples cars, probably taking other peoples wheels off over 200 times. i used to work on my vts on a weekly basis and must have had the wheels off several hundred times seeing as i had it for 4 years, and had them off several times per weekend sometimes for various jobs. And never once has anyone complained about loose wheel bolts, it's the one thing that i don't like about working on other peoples cars, is that if anything goes wrong you can't tell who's to blame, and i always make sure people are happy with how tight their wheel bolts are.
I'm disappointed that red has named me as the last person to touch them, as i'm sure i wasn't.
That is all.

Sand in the vagine...
Jokes.
As said everything is the drivers responsibility tbh.
Wheels havnt been touched apart from cleaning whilst still on since Ferodo's went on but im not blaiming anyone man and everyone should know how much of a meticulous whore Alex is lol
On a serious note. i've never doubted your work mate and still need to catch up over a BBQ and a few beers before the Ring. Really appreciate all the shit you've sorted on mine
Only the front left wheel bolts were loose which is weird.
Everything was double or triple-checked before leaving for the hotel so i dont have the foggiest tbh just glad everything and everyone was ok!

Not that die hard mate haha
Lost a wheel nut around wellingbrough somewhere tho
Got to the hotel and sorted the wheel then went for a gentle drive to test everything and make sure the car would make it to the show, unlike poor Alex-VTS's shed
Checked everything again early doors before we set off then again at the show and before the track sesh. Tbh i didnt think id make it on but glad everything was ok and the car ran well
Cheers Jay lol, few clutches and driveshafts took a battering there from people lol.
-Not as much of a battering as Amiee tbh...

Moving on to a little bit of progress.
Decieded im taking a MIG welder to the Supersprint fanifold to stop any blowing then adding some more (yes more!) heat-wrap and that is the system finally finished
Just ordered a lovely catch tank...
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/D1-Spec-15mm-R...ayphotohosting
Some tasty hoses to go with aswell yum yum.
After chatting with a mate im convinced i need to relocate the battery in't boot so thats gonna have to be done and a nice custom box fabricated and powder-coated before its slotted into place.
This would be easier with pictures but iv re-wired the front components so that no wiring is on display and everything is neatly hidden and run through the doors.
Gearstick needs to be cut down by a couple of inches before i get a new gearknob on there to spruce things up.
Car needs a polish with the UDM sometime in the next 2 weeks and i'll grab some pics of the underside next week when the manifold is back on.
2 weeks to go until some Ring action

Red, you've got more money than sense lol!
Why's your supersprint blowing? I'd send it back if I were you!
Catch tank looks lush! So why do you need to put the battery in the boot? Can't see the point tbh!

I wish that were true at the moment mate!
Bodies, cams and a remap would already be sorted by now just in time for the Ring lol!
Catch tank is needed i realised at Rockingham, like Rushy did aswell lol!
SuperSprint's all have a generic problem...where the Y-piece (2-1 bit) joins to the cat, its bolted on seperately and usually blows after a while which is gash but its gonna be sorted in a few days.
Taking a MIG to it and then heat-wrapping over it will sort the blow and make the system look/sound better so not a problemo really!
Battery in the boot for better weigh distribution?
Just looks better to be honest and the makes the bay look cleaner/less cluttered.
