Default Saxo gone!

what a sad day yesterday!

i advertised the saxo on pistonheads on sunday...... http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/224722.htm

i then got a phone call at about half 4 saying he would like to come view the car 2nite!! so two hours later (after he had travelled) his dad and grandad came down and viewed the car, fell in love saying it was the cleanest example they had looked at and bought it off me for cash there and then!! was sad to see it drive off but glad it gone to a good home! im officially not a saxo owner now!

ASW!

Ashame to hear mate, but at least by the sounds of it, it has gone too a good home, and that you got a sale quickly, lovely car by the looks of it as well.

I think you got a good price for it - seeing as paxo's are worth peanuts these days. Most people dont appreciate the time and money that we spend on our cars - but its nice when you find a buyer who does. Saxo did look sweet mate

Nice car mate, but hate it when people badge them up to say VTS cos it doesnt look great on us vts owners when a 1.4 corsa keeps up with you,

They must think that vts is shit lol.

Interestingly enough, i've heard a similar argument with regards to Ferrari 355 drivers and those with dad's/brother's/delte as appropriates that have MR2's with 355 "body kits"...
