Sort of man but it depends on how everything has been done and the colour scheme also has a huge part in the finish tbh...

Take the Polo that was in FastCar mag 2 months back iirc...
Red leather interior with cage, ICE and other mods but it still looked good
and pretty tasteful. Fair play to him i reckon...

I've spent too much time thinking about this in the last 2 weeks that the gf is starting to get neglected slightly

Haha lol yeah i wasnt sure at first but i have made a completely custom
setup that is uber-lightweight and sounds great still when you want to spank
out some tunes and that plus it all looks good together especially at night and keeps me sane as there is nout else in my car ATM

Update time...

Nice package arrived today from a certain company which will sort some of my suspension prep out for Rockingham Speedway

Engine bay has seen a little clean-up and a few bits and pieces sprayed and tidied up there...

Most of the interior has also been finished aswell so i'll post those pics up later when i get a moment before the Guildford meet

Managed to drive her with no seats in at all last night...only round the car park and then back in but biggest slag on here?

Little update...

After yesterdays work i was pretty knackered plus i then went to the Central South Guildford meet to catch up with everyone and see a few old faces so didnt manage to get pics up of the progress made...

Here are a few from yesterday

Very nice little item...sexy red colour too !



Fitted very soon when my new X-sport racing gear linkages arrive...fingers crossed tommorow morning so i can crack on with getting everything sorted early and pop down to my local garage to discuss a few plans for the exhaust system

Also managed to remove and re-spray the old centre cover and fit the new Citroen Badge i've had lying around for over a week!!!

Out with the old...




In with the new...







The old rocker covers need a clean and polish which will happen tommorow
hopefully after the above gets sorted (again hopefully a few goodies will arrive)

Whilst some other bits were being sanded and polished i managed to clean two up with a corse sanding block first of all before moving onto some wet + dry paper which started at rougher grit moving down to very fine finishing grit...



Very happy with how well these came up



Not sure if i will need the pretensioner holders above now as when i fitted my harnesses the pretensioner unit was
unplugged...I have checked for warning lights and a few hundred miles on i still havnt had any problems at all with
anything or even a warning light/dash that looks like a christmas tree and the car passed an MOT a few weeks back
with flying colours so we will see if they will be needed or not...

More progress to come tommorow and maybe a few cheeky pictures of her and
another well known saxo lapping up some Sun + Sea

I can polish them down with mine and then give them a blast with the UDM aswell when i do mine of you like man?

Yeah that would be cool! I'm on my last night this week so will need to get some sleep tomorrow morning, be up for around 2ish though. So if you want, we can shoot down to brighton then?

But my car is a right dirty bitch atm, haven't had the time to clean her and i'm out in the evening.... so if its easier for you, do you wanna meet up on sunday?

Mine's starting to get like that at the moment too after driving her to Guildford (dirtiest she's been in a while ) and today

Sunday most probably will be better 'cuz of work on the car tommorow/sleep and Hannah etc

Weather better be good Sun as i think i found a few perfect spots today

Last little update for today (even though its early and technically tommorow/4th i know )...

The sub and amp have been stripped from the rear of my car now aswell and im just running Alpine front components with an Alpine amp which tbqfh sound the absolute dog's danglies as they are and kick out a fair bit of punch so once the car is fully re-sprayed...which should be monday ....I can trial fit the sub and extra amp back in and see if i want to wire them back in or just leave them out...We will see

I think 'Ellie' is due her first trip to the Ring and should be going in Jul along with a few others

Needing a co-pilot for this trip aswell to split petrol/ferry/accomodation costs but this will be one of the best trips you can go on tbh and i cant wait

I'll post the details up when all is confirmed
