Default How Heavy is my Brake Setup?

Well after all the weights been thrown around recently i thought it worthwhile to catalogue them all in one place. (For those that care )

Standard VT* Brake Setup
1 VT Caliper minus pads & brake fluid = 3.67kg -Weighed by Mystic
1 VT Caliper fully assembled with pads = 4.27kg -Weighed by Mystic
243mm Standard brake disc = ??

266mm Brake Setup
1 307 Bosch Caliper minus pads and fluid = 4.33kg -Weighed by Curran
266mm Standard 307 Disc = ??

283mm Brake Setup
1 GTI-6 Caliper minus pads & fluid = 5kg -Weighed by Tim_W
1 GTI-6 Caliper assembled = 6kg -Weighed by Tim_W
283mm Standard GTI-6 Disc = 5kg -Weighed by Tim_W

HiSpec Billet 4 Brake Setup
1 Billet 4 Caliper = 1.5kg -Weighed by Toad
Mounting brackets = 0.2g -Weighed by Toad
283mm Discs = ??

406 Brembo Brake Setup
1 brembo caliper minus pads & brake fluid = 2.82kg -Weighed by Mystic
1 brembo caliper fully assembled with pads = 3.58kg -Weighed by Mystic
283mm Standard Xantia V6 Disc = ??



If anyone else knows any extra weights or disagrees with the weights posted lemme know!

i'll be able to get the 266 disc and pad weights this week when they arrive

it would be good to have some more accurate weights for the 283 set up also

a pair of ferodo pads for the 266mm 307 calipers weigh 714g

so one assembled caliper is 5.04kg


still waiting on the discs
