I think I got the wrong end of the stick, basically I'm waiting to turn the lower into muscle.

Someone said, I need to start eating breakfast and drink protein shakes before the gym. Going to go tomorrow.

A high protein diet is good for losing weight.

Instead of "snacks" I'll have a bit of fruit then. (Any fruit?) Apples, bananas, pears, grapes, oranges. Also, nuts, sunflower seeds, dried fruit. What about those snack bars? I'll get some stuff from asda later.
Rice cakes are good for your carb fix I find.

Id say lots of leg raises. To the point where you need to strap weights to your feet.

You seriously need to stop saying that. Carbs and protein with every meal. You need fast acting carbs after the gym. Here a quote from 'Pro-Recover'

Glucose - Glucose elevates the blood sugar levels very quickly, which causes the pancreas to release the hormone insulin. Insulin's function is to regulate the blood sugar levels by removing the high sugar and Pro Recovers fast acting protein's, these are taken out of the blood (with the sugar) and are delivered to the muscles where they are required.

But instead of glucose I use something better for My Protein.

http://www.myprotein.co.uk/bulk-powd.../vitargo-pure/

Vitargo® has a larger molecule size than sugars (e.g. glucose, fructose, sucrose and maltodextrin) found in ordinary energy and recovery drinks. Vitargo®'s larger size minimises its osmolality, which refers to how much water it draws. Vitargo®'s low osmolality allows it to move through the stomach 2 times faster than other carbohydrates which tend to act more like a sponge in the stomach. Spending less time in the stomach allows Vitargo® to be absorbed faster, providing a near instant surge of energy into the working muscles, far superior to other carbohydrates. After training or competition Vitargo® recovers glycogen 68% faster allowing for an increase in performance of up to 23% after just two hours, when compared to carbohydrates found in ordinary sport drinks.
