Chris_429 - Yellow VTR
Hi, relatively new on here. Picked up a nice Yellow Mk2 VTR last Saturday after realising I needed a more reliable car than my '1.1' (Progress thread here. It does get good, honest!)
So, here's how it stood when I picked it up:
And here's the only half decent pic I actually have of it, just a better pic as hardly anything has changed on the outside yet.
So far, it's had 2 seat changes, from Desire seats, to S2 Rallye Seats, to GTi leathers. I've also sorted out the gay mats and gearknob, fitted Xsara mist jets, stuck a wiper on the rear wiper arm (as the previous one just wasn't on there), and fitted a parcel shelf that didn't have 6x9's in.
Also gave the engine bay a bit of a clean, with an added ECU cover and battery cover. Bare in mind I'm going to refurb the rocker, move the pipercross to the front of the bay and fit a nice mani!
I've also got these 106 doorcards to fit, just trying to figre out how to in Saxo doors, I think it might just be a case of switching over the fittings from the 106.
More pics and progress to come once I get a chance to clean it and take some pics!

Yeah, that's getting sorted out this weekend, I've got some 'performance' exhaust hangers from my supersprint on the flat arch I'm going to be fitting. The Supersprint itself might even make an appearance lol

Only pic I've managed to grab in the past few days, leathers ftw.
Managed to fit the uprated exhaust mounts onto the magnex, sits very nicely now will grab a pic soon.

Well, quick non-picture update. Fitted the Supersprint from my old flatarch over the weekend, and took it straight back off - the fit was terrible lol.
Debating 3 different exhausts now, either modify the Magnex to make it straight through, buy a Supersprint/Kam Racing back box to fit on my Supersprint centre section (designed a bit differently to normal 106 supersprints), or spend a fair bit on a Saxsport!
Still need to fit 106 doorcards, might try this weekend as I need some half decent speakers back in there!

And I don't know what I'm going on about, I do actually have a picture update. This induction piping has been on about 3 different engines, there isn't much you can't do with Electrical tape and a screwdriver lol!
