It'll either be black angels or standards with the inners painted black.
Inners on fogs will be painted too

I like the idea with the fogs - you should let me know how they get on as I may very well do that to my own

Haha, yet another lad from the oc!
I'm debating atm, I've got my old Supersprint but the hangers would need modifying
Liked the look of yours the other day dude, I'd say that Supersprint isn't sounding right though - it's sounding how my 1.1 did when the headgasket went

Nah, it's not sounding high-pitched enough - as silly as it sounds, that's how I know something was starting to go, and it was from the overfuelling where oil had leaked into the coolant system, effectively causing it to overfuel, I think that's due to the temp sensors not being able to correctly read the temp due to the sludge in there.
Should sound like this, it's not much of a difference but there definately is one:

Might just be worth having a check

Probably is something starting to go then lol, 125k is good going if it's on original head gasket - my 1.1 lasted to 65k lol!
Yeah, it got valvered, was bloody quick when it worked, needed something reliable for work in the end though, so ended up with this lol
Worth fixing, good opportunity for a cam too whilst the head's off!

Well, there's a long list, but the short of it was, the wiring was shot, ECU was questionable and there was a whole load of things like driveshafts and balljoints on their last legs.
I know the feeling, I got majorly fed up when the h/g went on the 1.1 - it's weird, you can feel the car giving up, so you tend to give up with it lol. Get that sorted and a couple of new bits and you'll be loving it lol.
Yeah, I'm after a GTi when I hit 21. There is quite a few about lol, a few guys have got rid of theirs recently though

Nah, it was, it was just killing me lol. Another reason it had to go!
Wtf?! That's pretty random, I'd be getting them to sort it out, as long as they weren't waving the air rifle on my direction lol!
Yeah, they aren't bad - but I can't wait for another valver, f*ck this 8v stuff! lol

Bet you was gutted Chris lol and the flat arch still has its looks - what happened to its side bump strips though?
Is that Shortstuff I spot in the last picture? - Is it still slower than a 1.1 lol
