Yeh, you'll need a 3 plug vts loom, ecu and engine. Not too hard to come by.

you don't need clocks.
You just plug the new engine into the car loom and away you go

it sounds all so easy, don't you have to rewire the car tho for the new engine?

Glad to hear it.... But i was kinda hoping to get first dibs on your SPL 5.2's and head unit lol... let me know if you get rid of them though.
from what i hear the two looms can just plug into each other, so you get your vts loom put in and plug it into the interior loom and everything works the same. You take out the whole vtr loom and replace it with the VTS one... or thats how i understand it anyways, more than likely, I'm wrong. lol

No re-wiring of the car is needed, I did a 3 plug conversion for S8TTG.
Disconnect old engine, disconnet loom from the car and Ecu - remove old engine
Put new engine in, connect loom up with car loom and new Ecu, connect coolant etc. up with engine, need to plumb in a return fuel line and away you go.
Just need to make sure you buy the right loom for you car, and best to get the front fans to plug straight in.

It's not a difficult thing to do tbh !!
If you get the right loom it's literally plug and play !
I drop the engines in with the gearbox attached (very tight) so once it's on its engine mounts its pretty quick to get everything connected up !
