wonky at the rear?!?!
I had a refurbed rear torsion bar fitted under a month ago, had it lowered professionally 40mm and everything looked equal and gravy! now ive started to see that the drivers side is about 15mm lower
ive got mates telling me its a dodgey damper and others saying its a dodgey lowering job?! dont wana get it adjusted again to find out that it is the damper...anyone got any ideas on why this has happened?
cheers adam

not had a decent look yet tbh, its pissin it down here and im swamped with uni work it'll be weekend before I get time to get under it, im hoping its a damper because i was planning on getting new ones anyway.
and it better not be a bent bar, its only been on a couple of weeks and ive not had any bangs with it!

I had exactly this problem.
My drivers side was a good 10mm lower, I went through 3 pairs of new shocks in 2 weeks, it was because the beam had been lowered dodgy and it'd killed it. I bought a new beam and set it to 60mm, new shocks and now it's perfect!

Either by the "Click Method" or they just broke it when trying to get the bar out or in.
Mine had been broken, and welded back in... Which in time killed the beam

ok, so ive had a quick look under the car and the dampers look fine, does this mean its just been lowered at unequal heights either end?
or is there anything else i could check?

You can't really look at the Dampers to see if they're fucked unless they're really fucked like smashed up lol.
The dampers shouldn't take any weight, the axle should do that and the Dampers just absorb the bumps and stuff.
In my case the Axle wasn't set right, and the torsion bars had no torsion on them, so my shocks were taking the weight of the car and the bumps, killing them very fast.
If it was level, and now isn't I'd either go to who ever did it and explain, or get someone to check it out because it's obviously not right, it shouldn't move on its own lol.
