Been having some trouble getting the old ariel off and ran out of time..
Got work in an hour..
So i gave up for the meantime..
The problem is getting the right fixture to unscrew the original ariel from under the interior light..
If anyone has any tools i can borrow or they can do it for me let me know..
As for the sticker its on and is looking good.
I also just realised that the speakers in the back parcel shelf are Kenwood 6x9s..
Thankyou Previous Owners

Not at the moment, i am nearing the end of the learners insurance and getting close to my test date.. Once i've passed my test and im insured i'll start doing F**k loads to it.
Ended up burning the clutch going up a hill today so i might been a new clutch as the bite is pretty damn high..
Takes a while to start so im thinking spark plugs may need replacing...

Mine cost £3.95 Including postage off ebay
Pics of my new ariel are coming up in a few mins and i've just got my Sportex backbox in the post..
How would the old one be taken off? Does it just slide off or does it need cutting off?
And does the new one need welding on?

get some pliers on the old aerial and it'll crack once its lose cos it'll more than likely have lock glue on it as mine did, once i had a good grip on it, it came off easy. and got the same new aerial as u so it def fits, but also put locktight on it too, so no one nicks it
