bit of an update sepnt the last few days working on the car('s) few problems encountered and some things running really smoothly..
got the Hi-Specs swapped over.. and also trial fitted my new wheels
think the wheels look great and when refurbed will look amazing with my new front end.
Non PAS stearing rack trail fitted and realised the main shaft out, connecting to the stearing column is too short so going to have to fire up the lathe and machine a new shaft or summot might do a guide for people encountering this in the future Non PAS in black
and intercooler rad combo fully fitted
and Finally engine is 90% built up...new cam covers new gaskets turbo fitted but changine and inlet fitted so far
and last my assistants
more to come!
regards
chris

Not much of an uptadate but here it is anyway
gearbox, flywheel and cluch off the old engine and ready to go on the new one the engine is 50% in just need a bit of muscle from my mate tomoz and should have it in so i can start positioning boost pipes and mountings for external oil filter etc but thats as far as it will go for a while as moving house and running my own comapy is takeing up all my time at the moment.
and also i will officially show my first development pick of my MK3 front end still needs a fair bit of work but hope this gives you an idea, working on relocating the indicators to free up space and looking at another style indicator as a temporary fix for the time being but i think it will look great and will help open the front end up for cooling contemplating mounting an oil cooler behind the grill
regards
chris
