Dont know why everyone seems to hate powerflow so much, iv got a powerflow back box with sportex centre section to cat and its a nice droney sound, not too loud but just right imo. I love it!

If your after something raspier sounding i wouldnt choose powerflow though as far as im aware they are mostly a deeper droney sound but i suppose as they are custom made this could be varied

because you can buy an exhaust designed to get you an increase in power for the same price..

But its not guna make a huge difference in terms of power gains when you are only doing the rear end of the system anyway.

In all fairness i wouldnt justify spending 200+ quid on a powerflow back box brand new but i got mine second hand and in good as new condition for less than half that price

i ended up getting a backbox , its a 3inch can if you like , a bit chavvy but i was desperate for noise instead of the car screaming at me and only cost £20 so :/ budgets tight but ill get a full system when i save up

Mine was deep with a cat back system, straight through centre and powerflow rear....still not exactly loud either, since fitting a 4-2-1 decat mani its a fair bit louder, deep and burbly when idling or cruising, soon as you plant it it turns to a loud rasp, not too farty though.

Does depend on the engine and the rest of the system to what sound you get, ive got a magnex but its stupidly raspy with a decat & 4-2-1. My mates had a really deep tone to it when he had cat and standard mani also 8v

Yes it's huge but i don't care, it' a 1.4, used for getting me from A to B not performance
some people say its chavvy but its very similar to mine and i like them.. they fit perfect into the bumper recess..
