ive got the opposite, a 1.0 106 xn and an alleged 93 mph, ive topped a tonne twice now, and 0-60 19.0 seconds, ive done 18 dead multiple tests with tonnes of junk weighing the back down and a passenger lol

Saxo speedo`s are not accurate,so your 100mph was more like 90mph.

Holy shit that's slower than my 1.5D!!!!!

14 seconds to 60 and 97 real mph (speedo was reading 105-110)

a 1.0 will never reach 100mph. Not even in theory could it reach that, it's not got enough power

well whatever it was it must have been pretty close as it was running with my mates corsa d and he said he was at 90 something when i passed him lol

Because of the way cars are taxed in Europe.

Some are a price per 100cc (like in Germany)
France had a tax calculated based on horsepower.

1.0 was designed purely for driving in the city and at slow speeds.

Also, Brazil is a huge market for Peugeot, cars over 1.0 in Brazil pay a hefty tax.

Same goes for greece etc.
