Discs are 297mm
Haven't tried anything larger than 266mm driving myself so I'm sure I'll be surprised. Managed to get the both calipers, discs and pads for under 150 pound so couldn't say no really

No worries mate, I'll owe you a pint or give you some beer tokens
Can claim vat back anyway but extra 20% or anything would be cracking
Going to pick up some 0.8mm wire and an auto darkening mask too so it will all help!

found a company locally that can buy a decent size bottle for £50 one off payment, rather than pay rental per month
unsure of what mixture to go for, the mix that ive been using in practice and whilst doing this course the last few months has been good quality, i think 80% argon but unsure what costs will be so ill decide that later..... what you use?

hmm i would find out the say of the bottle and see how much welding you plan to do tbh might be worth while renting,
i use energas, duno if there near you mind, i have a W off them 7quid a a month rental no bed at all, bottle lasts me 5 months and thats taking seriours hammering, 30quid a refill.
i personli use there mig5 whitch iicr is 93% argon, 5% co2, 2% Oxygen, sure u seen my welding on my thread gives very good welds.
