Another Quick update!
Decided that i quite fancied some professional tints all round.
So took it too 'OG tinting'
Did the whole lot today. 40 - backs / 35 - fronts
Looks really nice & subtle. There still moist at tha mo. Pics tomorrow.
Whilst i was waiting we de-wipered the back,
Also A friend of mine was selling an amp... But not just any amp.
Its a marks & spen.. Lol! .. Nah its a Audison SRX2
What you think? 200? 250? ..
£40! Sold! Anyways, i shall wire that up and sort some comps out next!
Sorry its long read pics will be worth it tho

The wicked reds dont look right fully colour coded, go gloss or satin black for the bump strips

Bodywork plans are sorted!, but iv found a set of wheels id like!,
But unsure wether there too big or not!,
Borbet A's
9J x 16 Rear
7.5 x 16 Fronts
its lowered 50mm all round, So i dont think its gunna rub!, Just dont wanna make it look stupid!.. Iv seen saxo's with 16'' Borbets on, just not 9J at back!..
Could anyone shed some light into this please?
Andy

vmax coilovers arent very good tbh, if u go low with them ull have problems, there just rebadged raceland stuff!
Seen 9's on a saxo afew time aint to wide if u get the offset right and maybe abit of tyre stretch. Tbh though wide 16's dont look right on a saxo, ill try & dig up a pic from years back of a silver vtr/s on 16" Keskins, with 9's on the rear. Looks good when zoomed into the wheels but looks to tractor like when viewed as a whole. Narrow borbet a's work becasue u can still drop the car enough by tucking the wheels, like jamie OLD vts or yorkies car. The guy who had the saxo ended up selling it and putting them on a new fez!

They're exactly the same kit as i had and that was terrible. Worst thing i ever did to my car! And they only stopped on a week, they were shit.
Sorry to sound negative dude. I'm sure you're car's gonna look nice, but i'd seriously talk to AlexB or LeeVTR if you want the kit to work as they have some experience

I mean im not gunna boot it everywhere, So cornering etc shouldnt be a main worry, but I'll see at weekend, when its on!
Thanks, Andy

cheers for clearing that up thought i was right. As far as i was aware v-maxx, raceland and afew others are all the same more or less maybe slightly different dampers. The dampers are to long and the springs to soft for going low. Again not meaning to sound negative but they can cause some serious damage, heard alot of people end up with domed topmounts amoungst other problems.
Also what make tyres are they? Dont look very stretched but depends on who made them i suppose. Just from the pictures (maybe be totally different in reality) the backs dont look as if the inside/rear face of the tyre is stretched to the outer lip? also the front look abit dodgy, the wheel looks to have abit of camber and the tyre to be straight.
What psi you running in them? You got any pics of them from above before they went on the car?
Also im guessing ur using 20mm adaptors aswell? Normally with wide wheels u stagger (sp) the back out more than the front, so i would get 5mm taking off the back face of the front spacers to pull them in slightly. Not gonna make a huge difference but its the safest u can get away with!
