Page7 - Kenco's White Furi-y0 On Wellers [[Sitting Better! Pg14]]
Well, finally decided to do a progress thread, as i could do with some help with ideas etc.
so this is the car when i bought it while still learning around 8 months ago

Completely Standard, bought from a neighbour with a family therefore knew it hadn't been abused
First things first
after looking around on Sax-p i liked the idea of black badges, so i set off and did those:
Nothing really much for a while after that, just focused on passing my test!

Next thing was to sort out the diabolical standard speakers etc.
decided that i would stick to one company, which would be pioneer.
collected myself a set of pioneer front door speakers, pioneer headunit and pioneer sub, which although is nothing special, does the job for me.
After De-pinning the doors i managed to disconnect the central locking solenoid I took a trip to SparcoTom, who managed to fix it and then on became my local garage for parts and fixes.
after rummaging through his stuff he fitted a 106 rallye downpipe. no need for pictures, its a piece of metal
Next up i decided to smoke the front lights
Not a great picture i know, but still, im sure you all know what smoked headlights look like...
so it stood like this for a while...
then came the snow, so i thought a picture was neccessary..

anyway, next up i came across Adamski's thread on stripping his car
took alot of interest in his grille so i snapped that up , thanks again mate
much prefered it once fitted:
with this being done, it inspired me to get my arse into gear and look around more on the sax-p for sale section.

With all this done, i decided to go ahead and grab myself an Ashley backbox, after looking around i decided this was the one for me.
initial fitment went pretty badly...
but after another trip to SparcoTom this was soon sorted
with this done i left it at that for a while.

Next up Turbotom and I decided to do a trade; my mountain bike for a set of alloys and a pipercross induction kit.
with this deal done we fit the induction kit there and then.
the alloys were short lived though, as i decided that i wanted to keep my vtr alloys and instead refurbish them black and sell the ones from Turbotom
FOR SALE: http://www.saxperience.com/forum/sho...tiSpoke+Alloys
Next up to go with the black badges and the smoked lights, i set about spraying the front grille mesh black
much happier with it now
and here is how it stands for now after a good wash.
Future plans are:
Supersprint centre section
Lowered
Black VTR wheel refurb
VT kit conversion

VT kit will look good, but there is a fair amount of work to fit one. its not hard really, just time consuming if you want it done properly.
sounds like your going in the right direction then!
