aaahhh you mofo lol i need a set of those lights i cant use the speedlights more than like a meter or so away and even then on a side shot you can notice the light falling away
what set did you go for in the end and were they the more expensive / cheaper of the two you were looking at.

can you plug the battery pack straight into the mains as well and run it off that if you are shooting indoors or do you still have to charge it, im about to get some pay for a website ive just done and combined with selling my other lights might make it an opinion. they are so much better for 'flooding' the area with light rather than a hot spot with quick fall off.
ps: photo-retoucher also for hire haha

James I was actually going to speak to you about PP work on a couple of projects.
You can plug them into the wall but its still powered by the battery, it tricle re charges between the shoots. They are just for location stuff really not a studio, shot all day yday and have full power still because they were not cranked up, prob get 150-200 full blast out of each battery.

can you put softboxes / umbrellas on them and are replacement bulbs available (stupidly expensive ?)
i rarely use my home studio kit really so this might be a better option tbh

You can use any elinchrom (elinca) fit acessory, so things like the deep throat octabox, softbox etc... You cant use cheap umbrellas through the head as elinchrom only have a 7mm hole for them but you can mount the umbrella to the base of the head with a clamp which is part of the design. They are very versitle, but stupidly expensive.

2 nice shots there anal master.
with the second one though, im not keen how the numberplate has come out dull. might have been worth having the lights on the car so the number plate lights were on?
