Hello all,
I'm new to the forum so I thought I'd start off by introducing myself and my Posi blue VTS 98 track toy (Cheryl)

.
She came to me stripped out, the previous owner had put a lot of time and effort into her. I've since done a lot of work on her. It looked briefly like Cheryl was going to stripped of her goodies and dismantled

Luckily enough I got to her in time. We did the deal and she has been just as much trouble as she has been fun ever since !
After having a few fun days with her and getting her through her the MOT, it soon became apparent that if I wanted to thrash her all day long at the track and still drive home in the evening then I would need to start investing my time and money into her.
With the head off I'm currently in the process of fitting a genuine head gasket, new big end bearings, new piston rings and honing the cylinders.. I will shortly be sorting the underfloor rusted stiffeners out with new oe panels and fitting a mocal oil cooler and baffled sump.
