Default Dougies CRX Track Slag!! More Pics and Vids Added!!!

hi folks.. so i thought today that it was about time that i done a progress thread.. i was gonna do one on my saxo last year but i wrote it off in august so that was that.. anyways.. ill give you a run down on the crx ..

so i bought it off my dads mate last year near the end of august.. he done all the work on it since he imported it many many years ago.. myself, since owning it have done just a few wee bits and bobs to it, mainly trying to get it a bit cleaner as my dads mate was the type of guy that " if its not broke, dont fix it" so as you can imagine when i got it, the paint was cracking off it and in general things were looking a bit rough..

so before i got it, my dads other mate (who sprays edinburgh taxi's gave it a full respray in, funnily enough, london taxi black and porsche green ..

before:

during the respray, the brackets for the front bumper where fucked so it also got a different front bumper off a donor car..
During:

while it was in getting the bodywork done, i decided to get the wheels powdercoated..

After:

so thats it for the pics for now, but since owning the car, iv done a few bits which include:
new distributor(which i hope doesnt go again, cause there expensive)
magnecore 8.5mm ht leads
larger radiator
changed the cone filter as the old one was sucking itself in, it was that blocked
samco hoses
stripped it out even more...
so in general quite a few bits, i still intend on making this car better, but by not making myself homeless in the process..

Thats awsome! Ive had both a 16v and VTEC.
I would of loved a VTEC for track racing, but gone with a cheaper car - the Saxo VTS!
