how long will this take?
i've heard people can do them in half days but normally you gotta leave days and even weeks for all coats to apply

2 hours?
how can 3 coats of primer, 3 coats of paint and 3 coats of lacquer to dry?
in the foglight one it suggest leaving the final coat of each one for 24 so at least 3 days

Anyone done a guide for doing this to mk1 headlights and indecators? Im guessing the internal chrome part on mk1 will just be a square for the headlights and then a small piece for the indicators?

Leave the rubber sock on, and just grab the black plastic square bit(?) and wriggle it off. They can be quite stubborn, so just stick at it!
Have fun...

I bought a spare set as I didn't wanna rush them, and the fact that I'm slow and lazy.
I masked of the recess for the indicator, figured it would work way better if that part wasn't colour coded.
I sprayed mine satin black, hopefully get them fitted if the rain holds off.
Cheers for the guide.

Thanks for the guide- I couldn't have done this without it!
Having said that- it's easier than it seems!

i just reheated both parts which softened the glue again, then put them back together with some insulation tape put round the keep it all tight.
other than that, try gripfill
