PS: Or as paul said I could use spacers to prevent the non pas rack turning to full lock, therefore preventing rubbing!

Nah it won't seize. It's the same internally on type 2 and 3 racks apart from where the stops are. If you disassembled a non pas rack somehow you could change the lock positions but i can't see the point in that when you'll end up with effectively a pas rack anyway
Paul meant run spacers on the wheels not on the rack, the rack has stops in it to limit it's movement

Decided i'm gonna order some polyrace bushes for the rear beam, fit my spare front wishbone bushes(polyrace and custom alloy). I fitted new droplinks and wishbones to it not that long ago so the suspension is pretty tight.

Ah I see lol! I run 5mm spacers already but I doubt that'll do much good! So a converted PAS rack will look essentially the same as an older non pas one yea?
Damm all this talk of rack's deserves this:
Beeeeoooodddiful!
Anyway, back to less intersting racks, do you got any pics of your old set ups dude?

Shopping list:
Polyrace rear beam shizzzz
Lower brace(gave my anthracite one to ryanal)
Some rear dampers(need to decide about torsion bars)
Possibly torsion bars(not sure)
25mm ass00000t bar.
New welder.
Bigger brakes with hardcore pads- got bigger master cylinder and braided hoses on already.
Think that's it for this season. Once suspension and brakes are sorted then the car will be well prepared for track. Got a 3 plug vts engine loom here that i am going to rape, few coilpacks, then just tidying up really and it's ready to rock & roll.

Cheers mate, i do try lol
Realised i really need to prioritise!!!
Get R888s fitted to vts wheels this weekend, then wheels are sorted, chronos can go on the back burner.
NEED to sort the brakes desperately, they are very important.
But most important of all, i need to get the engine running spot on. If this was sorted i could essentially just drive it on vtr wheels with std(ish) brakes, the suspension etc all as it is now. The engine is the only factor stopping me driving it on public roads at the mo!!! *removes finger*

Well i've got some spare coilpacks for a start.
The power keeps dropping out to the ecu, and the signals from the ecu are struggling to get to the dash and some sensors, so i am guessing the wiring is rogered! I'll get it sorted, i just hate it not being a clean cut problem, i've gotta keep searching lol Gonna attack it this weekend.
