Should Smoking be banned
I dont know about you but i hate smoke.
I dont like the smell. I dont like how it clings to your clothes.
Oh, and its cancerous.
I dont think i should have to leave a pub or a restuarant just because someone wants to smoke.
Its like a someone biting their nails except slowing killing themselves and harming other around them.
PLease. Discuss.

Thats a bit like saying, Oh well you'll probably die of cancer.
Here. Play with this Asbestos.
Its proven to be dangerous. The goverment should do their bit to keep its workforce and tax payers healthy. Not their pockets

Do you mean smoking in general or smoking in pubs etc?
We have a smoking ban up here so there's no smoking in restaurants, pubs etc. and it's great.

It's irrelevant weather you think it should be banned or not because from the 1st of July smoking will be banned in all enclosed public places!
The thing I don't like at the moment is when you're walking through town or past someone that's smoking and you get a lung full!
Ban it altogether for me..... Or just leave it as it is. We're all going to die at some point.

I'm all for the ban this year
I smoke, even so when I went over to Dublin it was lovely, and I smoked less as I didnt want to go outside all of the time.

Should smoking be banned altogether? No it shouldnt, its a great tax source for the country and its a human right to chose it really.
Should it be banned in public places were it can harm other non smokers, yes it should be. Ideally smokers would have an area sealed from non smokers were they can have a pint and a smoke etc... however thats not viable in probably 90% of cases.
