Quick update:
Went to raise the rear beam to match the gmc springs but it wasn't playing ball. Once i got the bars out they were still attatched to the arms, and of course the dreaded bearing on one side had got water in it and seized hence causing a bit of play, attention was needed. Plan of action?
Fit new polyrace bushes(far harder than powerflex crap)
Fit braided rear hoses
Fit new bearings(doubled up for extra long life)
Clean up beam & arms etc.
Fit new seals & water resistant anti corrosion grease.
Free up brake bias valve(was seized solid)
Fit stainless high tensile bolts & new offset washers for torsion bars & ARB.
Cost a whopping £180 in parts
That's just a hint of what i've done/am doing

good job alex.
what is you rear ride height? then i can tell you if you can fit 205/50/15 rubber without rubbing.
i done my torsion bars last weekend and replaced all bolts to high tensile, well worth doing in my opinion/.
also how hard were the rear beam bushes to fit alex?

i just used a single 4.5mm HSS drill bit from work, drill 4 holes in each bush and they push out with a hammer and socket, took me 10 mins to take the old ones out. Polyrace ones were a tight fit, took a right battering to get them in lol

I dont plan, what i genrally do is decide on a mod, then find the 4+ problems stopping me doing this mod, so fix them costing me 8x the money i spent on the orig mod lol...
But if it wasnt for my car id have no need to supply the north east with an abundance of columbian marching powder... so its providing a service really
