Looks amazing James, and reading the whole progress I'm beginning to prefer this black vtr to the green machine. It looks spot on so far and you're definetly the best thing for it, it really looks at home on track-even if you have span it out already.
Keep it up

Ah I know what one you mean then, I overtook him pretty easy but the impression I got was a bit 'too easy' as in he was not really trying at the time or was just scouting the track lol

What kind of racing line do you take around the hairpin? just out of interest because I never really got away fast from there all day!
|
I was the same when i went mate, could never get it right, in the end i was leaving it really late to turn then aiming just for the end of the curb and running out to the cone, but no matter what on my t1-r's they span up lol
I agree it looked like it was sliding but didnt look as though you were going to loose control. We could tell you were coming off the gas lol VTR runs out of steam on the straights, quick in the corners though isnt it lol
Cant wait for next year to get some more track days in
Just bought a mint set of VTS rims for my semi slicks

james from what I could see you had some good pace out on croft, t'was a top day to be sure.
the hairpin I was hugging the right of the track turning real late and powering round trying to avoid the muddy bit on the exit, speedo was saying roughly 50 when I was going round it.

Gay Bar..
Went to get into my car earlier and I might as well put my fucking speedo's on and gone for a swim.
Suspected leaking windscreen.. not amused.
Whole interior is going to have to come out and dried off.. somehow going to have to dry the sound deadning behind the dash etc.. really can't be arsed with shit like this.
Windscreen is going to need to come out and re-fitting etc as well
I always said when I bought this car, there is not a chance in hell i'd take the interior out.. now I don't have a choice let the rattles commence.

Get the ariel off and tiger sealed mate to sort out the leak through your light
As for the serious leak it could be your sunroof drains which lead down to the scuttle pannel through the A pillars. Will need to get them all out and de-gunked if that's the case
Shit stuff mate but maybe you'll be tempted to strip this one properly now
