Stunning mate... wish I had the money to dedicate my Clio to a track car and spend fortunes on it making it awesome like your Sax but I love it as my everyday driver too... Happy medium maybe I'm going for lol. Cracking stuff though mate

Lewis you are such a lesbian lol
It does look so nice though alot of effort has gone into this. But your car is in danger of truning into the modern day george's if you dont get a move on
Anyways just out of interest how much did it cost u 2 get the interior sprayed?

I like you! Thanks dude
Right then, Fuck ME I have spent all weekend scratching my head and trying to finish off my fuel system. Basically entailed taking all the lines out I had already installed and starting again! The return was on the wrong side so I had to re do it all...anyway, that all done, I fitted the swirl pot properly, and the fuel pump, and plumbed in the lines..so far so good.. Then today I set about refitting the fuel tank. CHRIST what a fuckin' nightmare! To start with it was hitting the axl stands and wouldn't go up fully, (it is full of fuel almost so the exertion was driving me insaine!) then it started fouling the fuel lines that ran through the bulkhead, absolute cunt of a job I tell you. Why do Citroen make everything so fucking tight, so there's no space?! Anyways i've fitted it back, and had to modify a few bits here and there, and it is damm tight with the hoses etc but it will do the job for now - hell if it leaks or anything i'll have to redo it, but i'll jump that hurdle when (or IF) I get to it *fingers crossed lol* Only problem now is trying to fit the hoses onto the standard pump, as it's at a total bastard angle compared to the holes in the bulkhead, i'm sure i'll get round it somehow.. :? I was fit to fucking burn the hole car tonight after that arseache!
Here are some pics anyway...
They are fuzzy as it's so dark in my garage, can't see shit, let alone take snazzy photos! You can see where the lines go through anyways, an dit gives an idea of how the fuel tank/pump fouls them (tank not yet fitted in pics) It's a real tight fit, but we'll see how it all works once fired up. Also need to work out a way to connect the teflon lines to the standard pump, as there is no room for adaptors under there. Also the two lines on the left go the standard pump, but the angle is wrong - the outlets are facing the other way (north east) so need to come up with a way to connect 'em.
First pic:
Rear View:
Close up of the bulkhead fittings:
Here's whats going on up under the dash:
And one of my coilover too:
Also according to the fuel pump installation diagram you should place another filter before it goes through the pump (makes sense when you think about it) so have also considered getting another one and sticking it on the rear bench. More money and arseache though...

I could do with more of both if ya get me!
Had a busy day today - lots of bits sorted out! Firstly I had to go to Central Blast Cleaning to pick up some more powder coated bits, then onto AST to get my coilovers sorted out once and for all (after an on going palava of incompatible parts, and not being happy with them!)
I've never been to Powerstation before but the guys have a serious set up there, proper workshop with a rolling road, and a collection of goodies/machinery/cars to die for! The head man of AST there (Curtis) built up my coilovers and machined some sleeve nuts for me (the others wouldn't fit with my pug sport dampers) and sorted me some springs too - really nice guy, helpful and extremely knowledgable (which was very assuring!) So many things to consider when you actually get questioned by an expert lol! ie; spring size/shape to allow for different tyre clearance, height of car, what it's gonna be used for etc etc. I would THOROUGHLY recommend him as a point of contact if anyone is considering an AST set up (which should be noted they do a FULL coilover conversion for the saxo/106 which requires no welding or anything due to ingenious design - I think it's around £600 or so, or they can do a proper race set up with re worked strut arms like the cup car set up for about £1000. I would've gone for this in the first place had I known, but never mind..! Anyway, enough of that. I also finished off my fuel system, and finished preparing the bay for paint - all studs now ground off, a few air holes cut to aid air flow to the TB's. Also a few shots of my gearbox with the end cap off.
Powdercoated stuff:
Fuel System 99% Complete:
Coilovers with 175lb springs (as recommended by Curtis, which it should be noted the saxo that runs his suspension that he designed recently won the stock hatch championships!):
Fully Adjustable top mounts - you can see the little plastic spacer part too, that's also a bearing to allow the springs to turn etc, and to relieve some stress from the main top mount bearing.
Bay Finally ready for paint!:
Air Holes cut for the TB's - i'm not keen on cutting the scuttle, and two of these were small holes left by the wiper bracket I removed, so I just enlarged them:
Gearbox inside after removing the end cap:
Note the new sexy latex glove (ooh eer!)
So hopefully it'll get painted shortly, then I can start getting it all together - can't wait!
