other then that i love your car

Honestly? No, i don't think it'd be quicker than a cammed VTS. I had a quick play with my mate's GTI the other night and we were pretty much neck and neck - perhaps gaining on him a bit, although i did completely fuck up my change from 2nd to 3rd lol
But, the Clio's a great step up imo. Build is better, handle's brilliant, much more civilized, less chavvy... I love it tbh
And thanks, i think that's my favourite picture too.

RIGHT!
So, i've had a bit of a problem for nearly 3 weeks with the Clio. It's been misfiring and flat spotting really badly. So badly i actually haven't washed it for nearly 3 weeks!! Due to being well and truly pissed off with it.
I scanned it, nothing. Tried a map sensor, nothing. Tried a coilpack, nothing.
Then tried spark plugs, didn't fix it but fook! You have to strip half the engine! Lol.
So scanned it again yesterday and once again, nothing! Even took it a spin with the laptop still plugged in watching exactly what everything was doing and all looked to be normal.
Even though the Lambda sensor seemed fine today we decided to try it as my Dad had one lying around at work. FIXED! Fucking so happy about it lol. Car drive's sooooo much nicer!
Also i've ordered a Pipercross panel filter (should be here by now tbf) and i've bought some new door speakers!
So it can have a wash this weekend

Expected this from you... You're a VAGina and use Holly's dildo on yourself more than you do her.

Well, tiniest update really. My Pipercross panel filter finally came last week. Put it in... Makes it fast, innit - brap brap.
Nah, ofcourse if it makes a difference i can't feel it BUT it is an update so thought i'd chuck it in.
I've not got much planned for it really atm. I'm being mega lazy with it.
Hopefully in the next few month i can get it to the bodyshop and have the niggly bit's sorted.

Hi, I stumbled across this forum thread while trying to find out how to change clio 172 spark plugs. Can you tell me if it is straightforward for a novice like myself to do this or should I take it to a garage? My car sounds like it is coughing and spluttering and has suffered a huge loss in power. I have been told to get new spark plugs so I did but have no idea how to change them or what i need to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Basically pal, engine cover off - induction bend off and top half of airbox off - coilpack off (4 bolts) - inlet manifold off (6 bolts iirc, two at the bottom and 4 up near the top) then you can see the spark plugs... It's really easy actually just looks daunting at first.
Whilst you've got it all off clean your throttle body out with some brake spray or similar.
If spark plug's doesn't fix it it'd be worth trying a lambda sensor too, fixed mine.

Thought i best whack a quick picture up so you all know it's still alive lol. Not done anything to it lately.
Basically it's paintwork and spacer's on the card's atm. All money though and tbh just not got it atm. Hopefully it will all start happening soon...
Picture of it on the Ford RS Owners Club stand at Ford & Jap Show lol...
EDIT: Actually there has been some progress... I had a dint man working his magic the other day. Looks soooo much better.
