The only problem with the engines in them is you get bored of the power quick lol there too linear in delivery

If you are looking to map it - make sure your options for remap is revo or apr (revo is more aggressive I.e there's peak power quicker but tails off whereas Apr gives a less peak of power but holds it longer - so relatively... They are equal, but personal preference) I personally loved all the revo maps I've had over the years

A little advise though, which is a mistake I did - before any mods.. Do a stage 1 map, I waster hundreds upon hundreds to realise that mods alone didn't give 10% of a gain of the map, 450 for milltek + 300 itg intake = no gains virtually, £499 when revo do 20% off = a potential upto 320 bhp with no other mods

P.s I have the same engine except mines the newer tsi unit (beleive being 08 you have tfsi)

Mapping wise Revo and APR are both free updates for stages are they not once you buy the software once?
APR have handheld devices, where Revo do not so I'm leaning towards them so far. Ive also been told to look at Shark performance, which is only down the road from me in Mansfield. There is a Revo dealer in the village next to me though, so going to give them a ring tomorrow for a chat.
Yea I have the tfsi engine, thats the only one they put in the TTS i believe. The newer engines are they the 211ps ones?
