That brake line kit looks tempting.. How much did it set you back if you dont mind me asking?

I need to order some new front liens off swampy anyway as ive lost mine

Think was around £240ish

bored earlier so gave the turini's a wheel sealant, they come up well

also im starting a welding course soon so hoping to weld in my safety devices cage mounts when they get here

Firstly found the current rolling road graph for the engine currently in the 106.... 204hp at 1 bar, anyone think the graph looks good as i have no idea?



more importantly, managed to get the rear beam on tonight..... few pics, also spent more time moving this little one out of the way than spent on car haha!!




then i removed all the black plastic moulding gave them a coat of gloss black and refitted with new clips.... quick pic also showing rear wheels fitted

think it says on there wheel figure was 165hp..... however it HAD a 2 inch bore exhaust which was seriously restricting it..

it now has a 2.5 inch bore system so will get it mapped up again sometime when its mot tested in a few weeks

wolud of thought torque would of been higher than that @ 1bar, think thats quite conservative, maybe on diferent rollers youd see more, not shabby though 200+ bhp is a lot in a french tin.

If i havent said it already, nice wheels!!!

really? on 1 bar? if thats the case i wouldnt really go off that at all tbh andy, somethings not right there imo?...either boost figures or map or whatever?

youll see much more once its all done, what was it like to drive? feel quick? fair do's exhaust restricting, but id have thought that would have pushed the torque through the roof?

god knows, wouldnt dwell on it anyway, sure others will have an opinion.

Coilover conversion kit ordered.....
300lb faulkner springs ordered.......
compbrake top mounts sourced.....

will have front struts built up by middle of next week hopefully!

and s2 rallye box with quaife diff fitted should be here this week

Fitted gearbox, lower arms, front struts built up and fitted, also brakes test fitted with wheels on for clearance..... its close but they fit! quick pic below, manifold turbo down pipe and exhaust will go on tomorrow night then back on all 4 wheels!!!

tonight saw the manifold, turbo, down pipe and exhaust fitted

also started work on a new front bumper..... and new intercooler mounts as the previous owners mounts for the intercooler were 'different' to say the least

This is how the intercooler was mounted on the top with nothing attached to the underneath!!!!

Thats how my old one was fitted too! self tapping screws through shelf brackets to the slam panel with the bottom half resting on the lower panel and the boost pipes supporting it!! lmao
