Tried out some new lights today aswell...
Quite like these but think i prefer to keep smoked standard items on at the moment as the red breaks up colours on the rear nicely
New lights are being ordered with an upgrade this week but need a decision on what to get out of these two lovelies...
I really like the Momo's and Sparco's are very nice too but im not sure on the new style badge ...old style was better tbh!
Ordering the 4-point bolt-in set with weight-spreading waistband and snap catch by the way...
Thoughts out of which set you'd go for out of the two please

Have been looking for some thicker ones dude as i agree with you there
Seen some D1 drift limited edition ones that are 6" and fully FIA approved but cost £200, worth it for me tho if they hold you really well and look the part to match
Downer on that was that they come in green
Any ideas of thicker makes and versions plus please post any link/info you have

Found the older style Sparco harnesses with 3" shoulder and lap belts which are the thickest i can find for any racing harnesses unless you order them specially from the land of rising sun or the States (i cant wait that long and im impatient lol)
Modworld were doing these for around £50 which id be happy with...
Any other suggestions or ideas? Im liking the Momo's more and more everytime i see them now

LOL your looking left right and centre huh!
Im my opinion matey you want 4 points, 3 points would even be fine but I
personally dont like the idea of the rear straps coming to one single strap.
Seems like more stress on it. Better if you have to seperate rear ones, hence
4 all together.
You wont need 6 points lol!
Also definatly go for 3", 2" is fine tbh but the 3" straps feel a bit better and also
look a bit better too.
Mine are 3" shoulder straps but 2" leg straps. Once correctly set up they hold
you in like glue.
If it were me I'd look into OMP, Sparco even Luke do good ones. Willians are
another good one, Sabelt like Toadus?

Used to have 6 point rage harnesses and Cobra Imola Buckets
Been there done that Pics early in this thread...
Good for track days but useless for a daily driver's car like mine is
4 Point Old-Style harnesses either Sparco or Momo in Red with 3" shoulder and lap belts have been chosen i think just got to wait until tommorow before i can order these...want them now lol!
Stripping will be finished on wed/thurs and the interior re-spray and detail will also be finished for fri so she will be mint for the CS RR day on Saturday when front windows and sunroof will be tinted to match then Sun 10th i join the Clifford Club
Thanks for everyone's advice with this and i have just spoken to a supplier about Cams so she will be almost finished before summer....
I'll keep it posted this week

http://www.essexracing.com/product_i...roducts_id=526
Harnesses and some Simoni door sills also ordered which will be keeping with the colour scheme of Red and black
Im aiming for the interior to be finished by sat and the new GTI red Ralleye carpet should arrive today/tommorow so i will hopefully have most things finished just in time for a friday detail and final prep for the RR day down in Falmer on saturday after my windows are tinted bright and early at Solar Screen

Update 8/2
Ellie got completely stripped last night and has lost a lot of weight
Pics of it in daylight later
New lights have arrived along with what i think may be harnesses!
Fitting these later after taking pics of everything
When i get home from work at 5 i also need to fit a few bits that were colour coded last night before i move onto sanding and priming the interior so its prepped and ready to spray gloss black
