Friday 19th October
Managed to get a bit more done on the engine today, another lick of paint to a few parts, nothing special or more developed to warrant some pics though...
however...
Called QEP this afternoon and my Headwork is completed. Should be back with me early this week coming.
Glad i had the work done, looking forward to receiving it back

You've all got chance this weekend to go and stock up on tissues
Also expecting a little package to arrive next week from Bic and courtesy of Streamline carbon.. a little something to compliment the Procomp nicely

Lets just say its severely eaten into the budget we did for fancy style parts in the engine bay lol. Spose to be a bit different thesedays its always going to cost a bit extra (ill txt you the price) Looking to find a good place now to Polish my rocker covers...or do i do them black mmm

Forgot to ask you earlier aswel mate, what did you do with your alternator? did you clean that up much and what did you use/whats safe?
Made a brief start earlier but wasnt in the mood to fanny about with its awkwardness lol so i cleaned up and painted some of its securing brackets instead

Gave it a good wash in the "bath" at dad's work, came out quite nicely. Will try and dig a pic up of it now....

"the bath"? surely that cant mean submersing it in a liquid? I was fannying around like a big girl with it earlier trying to be delicate and not get much water/muck/metal polish/degreaser on it.
Feel like a tart now lol. Want to see a good pic of yours now

think it would have been good if you fitted then engine when you first got it and ran around in it for a month or so then did all this work then you would have noticed the difference more

Cheers Mark, just seen your thread for the first time in ages aswel, looks mint. May have to get Cloud and Ash to do mine next year before show season.
50bhp to 150ish bhp will be a mammoth difference so feeling the difference will be insane Hoping to enjoy it then without any more modding for a while

Its quite funny to look back at some of the old pics Josh
WTF was i thinking with the Dimma bumper, looks a bit pathetic there. Hate the black bump strips on mine too.
We'll have to do a proper photoshoot with the 2 of them when mines all sorted too. See if Rushy fancies taking some pics with his quality camera if we sweet talk him a bit
