Always buy the cheap sh*t with mates-it's how you do things as a tight arse student.
Tesco value lucozade thing taste better
Waitrose Coke tastes excactly the same as Pepsi.. but waitrose is hardly cheap
Cheap tesco chocolate is so much better though

i work at ASDA and so i eat ASDA value food all the time in the canteen. The ASDA value chocolate is the nicest chocolate every. 23p for a massive bar its good. There is a lot of value stuff that is top stuff and id buy all the time.
A point thats often made. All food must pass certain standards and so all foods are generally made in the same way with the same things. Asda also have removed all their artafical (sp?) colourings and perservatives in all their brand products so they are pretty good.

Most of the value stuff is packaged by the big players. You get the same stuff but in different packaging.
Supermarket marketing departments have massive budgets for getting manufacturers to package their products in the supermarkets packaging
Say that after a few jars!!!

Me and the girlfriend have said we'll be sensible and try and keep costs down.
chocolate bars like penguins, buscuits, cling film, foil, yoghurts etc.. all seem pretty much the same, i wouldnt buy the 19p cola but the 39p range is ace
No point wasting money on something your going to shit anyway
