Yep and I have changed many of the parts you have planned to do apart from droplinks, track rod ends, wishbones, dunno whether its worth changing the anti roll bar or not

If the wishbones etc dont sort the knocking, also look at the strut top bearings mate. Can make ita bit clunky if they have play in them. Not too expensive to replace either.

What parts would you need for a full suspension overhaul and likely costs? As im going to be getting some bilstein dampers soon and don't want new dampers on an old 86000 mile chassis

Well when I got the car I had the drivers side strut top bearing replaced so I'm hoping its not that, will keep you informed. I don't know if its doing any harm to the suspension. But I would definately like it less the noise.

Its probably drop links and/or wishbones then tbh mate. You should hopefully sort it with alll the new bits you have got already.

Definately better without random knocks and bangs though lol

Looks good, did you need to seal the covers? Or literally just bolt on?

Cheers

They just bolt straight on as these ones have gaskets

Then today i decided it was time to go for the bigger brake set up fitment.

Bigger Vs Smaller

Dont you just love the soft locating socket! NOT. Had to grind them out!!!!!!

I got some goodridge braided hoses, but they didnt have no fittings on the ends
Then back on the wheels

Happy enough with this weekends work load

Wits been a while since updating but am now hopefully going to be getting on with the car some more

since my last update ive had the car lowered 50mm all the way around and fitted some smoked rear jewells. Then just some new suspension parts, drop links, anti roll bar and wishbones mainly for some peace of mind too (Will get some pics up as soon as)

Hopefully over the next coming weeks and months ive got my eyes out for a few things, manifold, cams and exhaust. Ive still got my ported and polished head too ready to be fitted but as per normal ive not got around to fitting this but i may leave this untill and if i get cams.........

Also got a clifford alarm to be fitted which has intelli start but am in two minds if i should install this or buy a push start kit and use this. humm decisions.

Also considering upgrading to the 406v6 coupe Brembo calipers... I can get hold of a set extremely cheap but its all the messing around ive got to do etc which is kind of putting me off the idea as the 266mm are more than good for my day to day driving

Another cheap thing ill be doing this weekend is another car service. Just freshen up on the engine oil
