Normally freshly made ones so they're undetectable until the Virus Database of your antivirus is updated and they have found the new Threats.
However, PornHub, RedTube, 89.com, PornMovies Etc...Are all full of nastiness!
Trust me, I know... Lol.
Xhamster is the cleanest one because it's an open site, much like YouTube, but for porn... Anyone can upload Video's and Pictures but they're filtered, like YouTube is. I mean Virus filtered. It's still hardcore porn...
I used to have a Laptop I used just for Porn when I was Single, That way if it did get a Virus... No details apart from my site login etc for them sites could be taken
|
I tryed to get on them sites and they wouldnt load lol. (i put everything security wise on max of strictness ) (so i assumed they were riddled) xhamser works but i was only on it a short while.. scanned it after and i was fine. Still havent been on it since.
So even if you download direct from offcial sites i.e (mozilla, adobe etc) you can get them?
I'm also using Mozilla browser (windows 7 hp laptop) it had IE when i first got it but i switched over straight away.
Only things ive installed, msn and mozilla (from official sites) and the sims 3 (disk) for the gf.
Kaspersky ftw.

Damn, I didn't know of that many others...
Plus damn, I didn't know the Hub was that bad. I thought it would've been like Xhamster due to how it works, as in uploaded videos.
So avoid the Hub or do a clean after I use (in more ways than one)?
I'm on a Mac now btw.

Well, I know PornHub works the same, but a lot of the stuff I find on "customers" computers seems to come from there.
If you must use Internet Porn I'd say do a Scan every few days, have security on Maximum and never do any kind of Banking on that Computer.
I mean, you can never be 100% safe from Threats, but if you go on porn and use Internet banking on the same Computer, Mac, Windows, Linux... In my opinion that's asking for trouble

Yeah I've not done any banking on this computer.
Recommend any security for Mac or the same as what you recommended on page 1?

If you can find Kaspersky for your MAC then, that's the way forward.
For the reasons I said on page 1

I was just put off of them due to Norton and Macafee (sp?) slowing people's PCs down to fuck. Not to mention popping up every 5 seconds and cock blocking everything! I don't mean porn there, just that it wanted to get involved in everything.
Cool man, thanks for your help.
They do Kap for Mac btw.

Just to trollop..
I've came across malwarebytes before and it sermed pretty damn good considering it's free, but I also had Kaspersky Internet Security 2011, and it was bloody brilliant..it was razor-sharp on detecting threats and lightening-quick on getting rid of 'em, thing is it slows down your commy massively and the boot times shoot-up.

I've not noticed anything like that.
I run it on all of my Computers.
Kaspersky is the lightest WORKING AntiVirus there is, Norton slows down computers a lot, it's very heavy. Kaspersky is very light, this Computer is high spec, but my Laptop isn't and that is as fast as it is without any Protection.

Havnt got round to sorting it out yet.
But ive found a routine in it occuring. Happens about 5mins after switching on when the laptop has had a good rest and eveything is cold. Also happens after the laptop hasnt been used all night but switched on. Once its idled for so long it wont liven up again. Also noticed CPU/hdd or w/e light dosent flash when this happens.

i use AVG on all my computers and have never had a virus, but then again i KNOW what's what and don't just go installing silly things left right and centre.
it's about being aware of what is and what isn't safe

90% on the stuff you download with it is crap, and full of Viruses.
Plus Torrents are easy to trace.
I wouldn't trust it on my PC, used or not.
If it's anything like Limewire, it'll have Trojans in it.
I proved this on another Forum by downloading Limewire from their site, then scanning it... I think there was a Trojan Dropper, Down loader and a heap of Spyware.
It's up to you what you use
