Default RickVTR - Posi Blue MK2 VTR

Right well i havent had much time to work on the car but ive managed to do the following.

Pipercross induction kit fitted. It needs cleaning up under the engine bay but thats another day.

I like this kit for its noticable power gain and throttle response but boy is it quiet!

Ive also bought a Janspeed back box just for a little bit of tone to the car. Its standard bore size but with a larger tail pipe. Not got it fitted yet but ive cleaned it up a bit while off the car.

Ive also got a small sub for the boot in a custom box and got a low watt (400) amp. Got it on ebay for 99p so bargain either way! bit rough around the edges so i painted it posi blue to match the car.

Next jobs are to install the sub and amp, fit the exhaust and repaint the rocker (again!! already redone just needs to be fitted) then a big job of refurbing a second set of VTR alloys in black i think....maybe with a blue paint splash not sure yet

Comments welcome or suggestions.

Nice work, im in a similar position with mine where i dont want to go modding mental so its nice to see some ideas of all the subtle things that can be done.

That lick of paint under the bonnet has made a huge difference!

That's an option but would need to find a cheap sprayer as I'm rubbish at it. Got plans for a few gloss bits

Been down to one of my lock ups so thought id get a quick pic. She hasnt been washed for about a month so is in need of some love soon.

finally got my sub and amp fitted but ill get pictures later as it needs a hoover!

Right well I've gOt a small update. Thanks to -Saxo_VTS- I now own a gti leather interior and some 35mm lowering springs. Top guy for dropping them off!

Will be fitting them soon as I get a min and will post pics.

Also bought all the bits to give her a full service. Got MGM plugs, 10w40 semi, oil filter and fuel filter. Not bad for £30 ;-)

Got a new rocker cover to fit too which is painted in posi blue. Gonna look at doing my tappets too whilst I'm in there.

right i got bored today so i cleaned up under the bonnet a little. sprayed my heat shield black cleaned my ECU tray and removed the cover from the bonnet! want an OMP strut brace now instead of my Sparco one and i want to clean up a bit but i still have a major oil leak from somewhere.

This is my oil leak it appears to be coming from the inlet manifold down the fuel rail and dripping on to the exhaust and gear box. Ive checked and its not the rocker gasket. does the inlet manifold leak oil anywhere?
