I know you wanted nothing gym-related but for boxing We are made do farmers walks with big heavy weights, they give you great endurance in your forearms, doesn't even have to be dumbbells, just lift two heavy objects and walk at a moderate pace with them, it gets quite hard but its good.

everyone prescribes curls... Train your grip muscles. so get a towel round a pole and do pullups with gripping just a towel, do suspended holds for time on it. Then get some real heavy dumbells or equivalent and do timed holds. finally wrist rollers are a good exercise too.

Also to reduce pump, get yourself on the bulk powders website and order some beta alanine and some taurine and have 2g of beta alanine and 10-15g taurine 45 mins before you play.

I had rubbish forearms, then threw my straps in the gym. Adequate now.

I found doing pinch grips helps me. 2 5kg plates in each hand, hold for as long as possible. Normally superset it with palm down bicep curls, using the thicker, 3" bar.
