Lol, i've actually made a fair whack of money from people just randomly asking me to do theirs when they walk past, mainly neighbours etc but a couple of the mums have walked past on the way to the school down the road and asked if i'd do theirs for £20 :d All i get is compliments when people see the cars..unless it's some sarcastic little cunt on a bike that goes 'oi blud, missed a bit'.
If that's the case, i throw something at them, usually a filthy rag or whatever shit i can find inside the car. Pushed some little shit off his bike for taking the piss last time :L

Hahaha. I don't really get that much passing traffic/mouthy kids where i live, so i think thats a missed oppurtunity for me

Trust me it's hilarious, especially when they get even mouthier after that, just chase them and they usually shit themselves even more.

Btw, when you clayed your saxo, how much did you do in each section? like did you do the whole wing at once, or did you break it down to even smaller sections?

If i was in the shade, i would have done a panel at a time. But where i was in the sun and the car was soooooooo hot, i did like a 3rd of a panel at a time because the QD was evaporating lol

Ah okay lol. Did you use the whole bar at once or break it in half first? I've only got a 100g bar so not sure if i should half it first.

I had a 100g bar and i broke into thirds and only used 2 bits.

The MR2 is a bit bigger than the saxo so i'll probably do that and use all 3 bits.

Yeah good point, best to still break it up though because if you drop a bit it needs to be thrown away

Yeah i'm still gonna break it up, also i thought about layign a beach towell on the road under the area im doing incase i do drop it :L that way i wont lose a whole third of the bar.

Yeah i saw someone had suggested that somewhere, think it was on this forum. I regret not doing it because i did end up dropping a bit haha.

Yeah AshleyP suggested it to me i think on a thread i posted last week about claying. Should save me if i drop it lol, if it doesnt then oh well but i don't wanna risk it too much. Starting to think i should have got a slightly bigger bar considering the paint's pretty bad on this..ah well, i'll find out in an hour or 2 hopefully!
