er! its stock hatch not formula 1. Quite frankly unless you are doing something thats either in the shady area of the rules or disallowed, you can guarantee the other cars will have done it....
You might have an edge with a super expensive ecu like a Motec with lots of load points to get the most out the engine map but other than that....
You are not fitting a megasquirt are you?
As for the engine. At best you might be allowed to blueprint (cant be bother ed to read the rules) but if you create a noticeably faster car expect your competitors to check your car over very carefully and request the scrutineers to do the same.
I'd have gone to GMC rather than Hiflowheads.

Stock hatch is supposed to be a cheap and cheerful series.
What's the point in blowing a shit load of your budget on all these un usable engine modifications?

Theres also the french trophy series which is looking promising. I might do some one off drives next year in that. My car will not fit their rules sadly so it would be in the invitation class.

Me? My racecar will be sort of road legal for a little while...for setup testing lol
In summary. Honda powered, 250ish bhp, 600kg and wide. Its got to be faster than one of our mechanics 205's with gti6 engine and supercharger. Thats putting out 216bhp in its first evolution.

does it need to be? Basic research will find very polar views on their work. Some good, some utterly terrible.
