Woo yay!
Quick update:
Not much has changed actually, seeing as i'm at work 80% of the time currently and i've got other work that takes up most of my remaining time , the car is still as-is (although it has had a wash)
To my to-do list is now sorting out the front brakes. I've got a knocking sound from the brakes and after a closer look, it seems that the n/s disk has warped slightly and thus is causing a knock as it rotates. Seeing as it will have to be changed I tohugh that it would be appropriate to improve the braking at the same time by fitting some larger disks. I'm aware that this also means new callipers and pads?? How easy is it to change the disks over? Any photo guides about?
Also, i'm looking about for a new backbox as the current one is on its last legs... Apart from the stock backboxes, is there anything that would suit my car? Im not after a loud exhaust, just something that gives slightly better performance to what I already have. (It's only a 1.1 at the end of the day and fitting a high spec back box would be stupid and would sound awfull) Any ideas there?
Cheers

Ok, the penny drops.
I'll stick with the blue actually. Would look rather odd, but different.

No need really to get bigger disks as its only a 1.1. Just get some new standard size disks and pads.

Whooa! Hold up where have I been?
Hey up all. Long time no speak. Where have I been?
Whats changed with the saxo then? To be honest and i'm a bit down to say this, nothing at all!!
However, next weds, the car is finally going to the body shop for its new bonnet & slam to be fitted and for the front bumper to be sprayed. I've also got my self a spoiler the same as this (aj-vts's saxo)
After that, a whole new exhaust system is needed as the current one is shot (yip still got the same backbox with the rattle)? any ideas and suggestions?
New front disks are going to be ordered & fitted during hte summer hopefully (Looking at tarox disks?)
Then I may if i've got a bit of money left over buy myself a new set of rear lights before its MOT & insurance is due.
So hows life been treating you all?

I'm looking at either those or some smoked lights, but i'm thinking that the smoked ones wouldn't look quite right. I also prefer the crisper look they give.

Quick opinion question. What do people think of these components and (potentially amp as well) for up front?
Comps : >>Linky<<
Amp : >>Linky<<
I'm a fan of Pioneer electronics and the sub / amp i've been looking at as well is the same brand.
Sub : >>Linky<<
Amp : >>Linky<<
I'm going to be getting any of it just yet as i've got the car going in for bodywork next week and insurance is on the horizon (I also need to get my exhaust sorted out before then as well). Opinions then?

And whilst i'm thinking of exhausts (as that is higher up on the agenda than sound) can someone recommend a suitable cat-back centre section to go with a Peco Back box [oval tip] (<< I don't want any thing too loud as it's only a 1.1 - so presuming Peco is sutble enough - just a nice rumble and not overly loud - i don't to feel stupid)
This is due to the fact that my whole standard system is shot and will need replacing by mid august.
