the yb is a seriously heavyweight engine though.. I ran a mile when I got one on the scales.. over 140kgs.
Proven to get big reliable power though so depends how the car is going to be driven as to whether its a good idea or not.

heres a few more pics
heres the hubs the ends of the shafts have been taken off as you need these to hold the hubs together
this was the engine when i got it out
fuel tank this was a pain in the arse to get off petrol everywhere lol
this it the underside with the gear linkage taken off and the heat sheilds
this is a view from the rear

You'll need to cut a fairly large transmission tunnel..
use this for inspiration

Should be a great car mate. I did some work on a mates clio which he dropped a integra vtec engine in and ran a rwd system, i can give you a few ideas from that if you want on how to do somethings. good luck though mate.

ive been doing a lot of prep work ready to fit everything.the wiring loom has been stripped ready for the new engine. all the unwanted brackets and bits and bobs have been taken off. i was gonna use a type9 gearbox but new iam gonna use a mt75 ive gotta pick it up this week.ive started to cut the bulk head but ive gotta wait for the gearbox so i can cut it the right size.
ill post some more pics soon when i get chance to take some.
