So the whole exhaust system is getting checked over and also my radiator cos i suspect a leak from it

Bad times.

Also im off tomorrow mate, if you want ill come with you to get a centre section. And could you do us a favour, i would like the push engine start in the dash like yours so if its ok could you cut a hole in one of the ports so that i can mount it. Then i will either get a new centre section and put your coin surrounding in it or cover the gap with a rubber grommet like on the de- wiper
Sounds good mate corse ill help Ill message you

So, big things happened today, mainly rather dissapointing things but things nonetheless. Me and morgiee fitted the centre section (Cheers Tom5190) and SS backbox but the 2 just didnt wanna play ball. Long story short ive now got a standard backbox on and the SS is for sale.

Also sorted out the rattling door cards and stuck on both rear badges.

Ill keep you updated on anything else that goes standard.

I was thinking where to go next with the car if i decide to keep it longer. I was thinking of mabey adding 205 gti wheels or darker colour grey VTS wheels. Then putting a black VT bumper on and spraying the rear bumper black. Mabey then doing the bonnet and roof later on.

Heres a photoshop of the idea:
