correct me if i'm wrong. is it not based on this?
i'm not saying that they're bad cars, i know they handle well, but on a track against a dc2 integra it has no chance. i doubt that you've had a ride in one, cornering speeds are ridiculous with the set up they run.

i know, they have a minted suspension set up, the main selling point of the car. but it's never going to be in the same league as a dc2, that's all i'm saying

Thats what Leeroy was saying, the spec to go for would be the JDM 1998 spec. I prefer the looks of the imports anyway.

And the intergra comes from a 5 door family saloon, which it started life as
I have been around cars long enough to know whats good and what not's
Yes i have been in DC2 UK and JDM and a DC5, bloody good car
Used to own a clio cup and my next door neighbour has a trophy so I know what i can do
You have to drive the teg hard to get it in the vtec and this will also be hondas problem, smaller nimble cars to have earlier power delivery will always get it

wrong model teg. think you'll find that honda went to pretty extreme lengths with the dc2 including extra spot welds and a more rigid chassis than the regular integra.
you also state you have to drive it hard to get it in vtec, that's no bad thing. on track you will always be in vtec, just as you'll always be in the powerband at high rpms in other cars.
as good a car as the clio may be, it will never worry a dc2.

Teg still started out life as a family car as you have pointed out about the clio
Obviously live in a dream world you lad if you think a DC2 has nothing to worry about
