My fish died a few weeks ago, id had him for absolutely years and after he died, i found a snail in my tank. I have no idea how it got in there. Ive never bought a snail for my fish tank in my life. Now it has been in there for three weeks and i dont know if i have to feed it or anything? Or does it feed on algae?

I was thinking about getting another fish. Can fish and snails live together in peace?

Yeah so long as there isn't 100s of the things as they can over-run the tank and mess up the water quality for the fishy. The odd one won't cause any harm.

:o I want my fish to give birth to a snail!

Nar, gold fish and snails are fine together.
The snail eats algae, it will die if theres no algae. You should get some fish.
