Snails normaly come into tanks on plants...bought any plants within the last month or so?? na you dont need to feed him hell be fine slimming about cleaning stuff...but get another fishy

Yip they can, some fish will eat snails tho, but only things like loaches not gold fish tho...check out my new thread in the general section...'aquatic help'

Yeah so long as there isn't 100s of the things as they can over-run the tank and mess up the water quality for the fishy. The odd one won't cause any harm.

Nar, gold fish and snails are fine together.
The snail eats algae, it will die if theres no algae. You should get some fish.
