Right i got chance to give it another good clean today, cleaned up the grille wit T-Cut to get rid of the white glue marks, then got my mesh fitted in
Before:
After:
Got my flase floor finished and fitted to but to dark to take pics will put some up tomorow. also used the T-cut to sort out some minor scuffs and scratches on the paintwork, and gave my wipers a re-spray too cos they were rusty.

i followed a guide on here, was ded easy to do, bought some primer and paint from halfrauds, just put the lights in the oven to heat up the glue and remove glass, then sanded down the insides and sprayed them. cost £12 for the 2 cans of paint.

Nice 1.1 buddy, seems like you've got your head screwed on with the modifications, a simple air filter will fit onto a bigger engined car matey you just gotta know what you're doing with the 1.1 to get a vtr/s filter to fit. Ask around if you decide to do any form of engine mods
What shade of red is the sax, I wouldn't say it's wicked red, but it's not venetian or persian neither looks different.
keep it up the boot install looks good, not my thing but looks spot on
