cheers man

nah, you pay £25 to go on (thats unlimited runs) and included in that is recovery if you breakdown, i was proper worried though because i thought the AA wouldn't recover me from santapod because i'd be on the strip, but they were sound about it

its sort of like a car club, theres plenty of threads about it in the EM section haha

Glad to see you got it sorted after the strip! Could have been a lot worse

I did that exact thing to my windscreen... gut wrenching isn't it?

Do you have fully comp insurance? I got mine replaced and only had to pay a 50 pound excess. The guy from autoglass said people do it all the time. I think insurance covers accidental damage, so you should be fine

Yeh i know what you mean, took me a few weeks!

It's really simple though, fill in a two minute form online, give them your insurance number.
Then they phone you up to confirm and take payment of the excess.
When the guy comes it only takes about 30-45 minutes, and you'll have a nice shiny windscreen

I was really happy with mine, as my old one had 12 years of abuse and 130k miles of stonechips on it. Now i can't even see it's there it's so clear

get some smoked angels i reckon, i was going to do that but i ran out of money...

you know what, i cant find a way to secure them to the outside of my car without them falling off, i got some velcro stuff, but i left some outside and the glue that would stick the velcro to my car and to the number plate went all weird in the sun and melted

You think mate, i'm really unsure lol, depends what I can afford haha.

As for the plates, first off take your old plates off and hold them up to the bumper/pate recess, make sure the curviture is the same, if not bend the plates ever so slightly and carefully so you don't crease them but so they fit the recess correctly, you could probably just use thicker bits of tape at the edges than the middle if bending them scares you.

Then if you go to a motor parts shop(I got mine from a local Wilco Motosave which is a bit like Halfords but cheaper and usually has more technical stock rather than full of ripspeed shite lol) and get a roll of body trim tape. Its just like that double sided foam tape but stronger. USe that on the plates and it should hold them hopefully.

i have no idea why it doesn't work, if i post the link:
http://i594.photobucket.com/albums/t..._2135699_n.jpg
that works fine, but if i IMG code it then it doesn't show up, thats the crack?

i'm not sure, the guy who has those red headlights did them himself, so i dont think you can buy them, but maybe you can?
