sadly over the years rot has set in really bad so im going to plate and smooth the engine bay and the rear arches are non existant. also the engine plans to go in i dont feel safe if the cars ever in a accident tpuch wood she wont be buts its going to be having its powerfullest engine yet! so im on the hunt for a full roll cage then time to put my own touch on the bodywork. the front bumper and splitter offf my old furio is being prepped! so if anyones selling a full cage or can recomend me the right place to get one hit me up!

Me too especially if its that bad. The arches were all cleaned out fully and painted, hoped it would have protected it better. How many miles has the shell done now?

Engine bay looks a bit neglected aswel :-( the inner arches were nice gloss back. Does it look like a result of poor care taken when putting the car back together by the last owner causing scratches that have rusted? Front arch sides look like its been offroad as they were all cleaned out when the wings were off at the respray time.

i dont want to nock the lads who put the car back together as they were realy frrindly and helped me alot storing the car for a few months / saving it till i had all the money but everything seems to have been bodged its having a full interior and engine loom as therr both bodged / a mess and ill take photos of the rust it looked fine then you could peel the paint back and it was rotten undernieth sadly :/ the front seems better than the back no idea on the milage of the shell as the clocks say 84k and there mk2 digital vtr clocks the electric roof no longer works either dont worry willsy! its in good hands and i have some epic plans! ill be using the wiring loom interior and engine out of my 206 due to the engine thats going in plus will be cool to have the mpg counter out of the 206 lol

Absolutly If i can acheive what i have photoshopped, ( not going to show incase guys with big pockets come along and do it faster than me / steel my ideas ) I have a saxo mango at the back of my garage, wich is a bare shell at the minuet and was going to be this years project, Iv had it since i was 16, But after buying yours iv had some mad ideas and cant keep myself away from it, I plan on working on it after work in the week going to remove all the interior wiring loom from this and do some tip runs with all the shit i no longer need!, Its been thrashed to be fair aswell, the bonnet front bumper and front wings have bad stone chips, So some paint is on the agenda to!, current plan of action is,
Remove the bodykit so i can send that to my mate to store / prep for paint and then paint ready for when iv finished the engine conversion,
Plate and smooth the engine bay, rust treat plate / strengthen the rear arches / boot floor and patches of rust on the underside, then find a really good underseal to do the whole car, Paint the bay yellow and rear arches, buy some solid engine mounts, mount the engine, Rebuild a 1.1 gearbox new bearings make it spot on!, fit the 206 interior loom and fit correct plugs from the saxo loom, electric window motors, etc etc so it all works, Shorten the engine loom / tidy it up ( after a minimal smooth bay ) Iv bought some morretes so they can go with the bodykit for paint, sort out the door hinges and check straps as there realy stiff / creaky, Buy some mk2 struts so i can rebuild them and paint etc, Not sure what shocks to go for, I want to get a fresh set of pollybushes for all round iv bought new wishbones ball joints drop links top mounts already, Get some new drive shafts also got a 106 gti twin fan setup, Cant decide on what exhaust to go for as iv got a nice outwardly rolled powerflow on it now, but its not stainles nor is it shiny so find somthing simular, Iv got a piper 4 into 1 8 valve manifold that iv bought a flange so that i can have it fit my new engine, need to get some new gearlinkages, im thinking constella got some 4 x 108 to 4 x 100 so the wheels i intend to buy will fit looking at opting out for some better front brakes maybe 406 brembos just to be a flash sod but nothing will compair to the beasty ones you had!, No longer going to use the 106 gti yellow and black leathers as i only want front seats now im after a cage, but deffo want some black and yellow buckets ? Where did you get yours from willsy ? iv got a new 106 gti spoiler that will need some seriouse work to make fit again!, and im also looking at differnt roof options as im not a big fan of the whale skin rubber thats standard lol! other than that i hope it actualy works out for me! is there anything you think i should do ?

Its horrible, I had a piece of modelling flock/grit under my eye lid so every time I blinked it was scratching my cornea. It looked like I'd been socked in the eye after a while too
